Servo Control Computer
 |
The Servo Control Computer (SCC) drives three motors with
high-current pulse-width-modulated amplifiers.
These three channels share a common computer processor that runs a
tailored servo
control algorithm. The control algorithm is user-programmable via
an RS-232 serial port. The SCC contains resolver-to-digital
converters, analog signal conditioning electronics, several relays, and
more. |
| The SCC can be remotely turned on/off by
a relay contained in the SCC's enclosure. The enclosure is sealed
and designed for ship-deck environments.
