Software Development

North Star's software developers produce code for embedded systems (DSPs, microcontrollers, etc.), real-time operating systems such as DOS and pSOS, graphical user interfaces and other Windows-type applications, and LabView application programs.

We use MetroWerks' CodeWarrior tools for the Motorola MPC7410 Power PC processor, TI's Code Composer Studio tools for the TI TMS series of digital signal processors, and Borland C/C++ for other 8031/8051 microprocessors, Rabbit2000, and Intel's x86 family processors, and to develop Windows graphical user interface applications.  We also provide all boot code, assembly language code, and drivers required to boot and configure the hardware.
